Between Carnival and Set Design: Allegrucci's Career

In the Carnival, after collaborating with some builders, his work in the carnival began in 1998 with the first mask titled “Il Metronotte”. After two consecutive victories he was promoted to group masquerades and in 2005 to second category floats. That same year he had worked with other artists on the creation of the opening parade for the Turin Winter Olympics. He has created set designs for many important theater productions.

His first first-category float was in 2017. Since then, he has won three times: in 2019 with “L’ultima Biancaneve”, in 2022 with “Il Sognatore” and in 2023 with a tribute to the history of the Viareggio Carnival. The float “Una storia fantastica” celebrated the 150th anniversary of the event.
