Michelangelo Francesconi is one of the youngest artists in the Viareggio Carnival. He began his journey by working with papier-mâché masters and learning the secrets of the unique craft in the workshop.
Set design, ideation of the subject, the sketch, the modeling, the color, the technique of behind the movements: these are all the fundamental phases in the work for the Viareggio Carnival that Michelangelo Francesconi experienced and learned, working shoulder to shoulder with the masters.
He began his career with solo masks, and after three consecutive successes in the three-year period 2021-2023 the possibility of entering the groups masquerade category opened up for him. In 2024 he debuts with his own construction in this competition category.
