Roberto De Leo e Vania Fornaciari
Roberto De Leo has been building works for the Viareggio Carnival competition since 1994. After going through the masks category, he has been in the group masquerade category since 2005.
De Leo sas and his works
Since 2012, De Leo has been in partnership with Vania Fornaciari, and together they created De Leo sas. In 2014 they dedicated their group mask to Giorgio Gaber, while in 2015 they came in second place with a fantasy construction dedicated to the pencil, the artist’s first instrument of imagination. De Leo’s works range from fantasy to nature, with an allegorical interpretation referring to themes of our contemporary times.
