Colour is the primary language of the Viareggio Carnival. Hosted at the Carnival Museum, this exhibition explores the meaning of colour in social history and art, with particular focus on the symbolic value of white, red and black—the colours of Burlamacco, the iconic mask created by Uberto Bonetti. A journey through emotion, creativity and visual communication.

The Viareggio Carnival as a critical voice on the world. The exhibition presents sketches from the 1960s to the 2000s addressing the themes of war and peace, blending satire, protest and poetry. A visual narrative that highlights the dynamics of international politics and major global crises through the eyes of master float designers.
